After my most recent jewellery post I was approached by a small London based jewellery company who asked me if I would review their website. What a lovely request! I'm never one to turn done the opportunity to write, especially when it's about something I haven't seen on the network yet (I love to have the inside scoop!) so I went straight to their site to have a gander.
The company is called Forage and Find and they specialise in vintage inspired pieces. So do a lot of jewellery companies, right? Right, but this is different. Instead of selling handmade and vintage pieces Forage and Find have combined the two, creating pieces that incorporate fragments of vintage jewellery that would otherwise have been discarded. I'm a huge fan of upcycling, particularly when the items are as lovely as these.
From swallows to clock mechanisms and compasses, these items really do have a unique, eye-catching edge that will undoubtedly provide a talking point and I'm now desperate to own some of their pieces. Unfortunately I don't have the money to purchase anything just yet but they've definitely made their way on to my wish list.
I've fallen head over heels for a vintage map measurer on their site and loooove the watch mechanism necklaces (pictured above). I simply can't get enough of clocks, stag heads, good luck charms and keys so when you see the pieces for sale on the Forage and Find website, you'll understand why I'm so into this company.

ReplyDeleteIsn't it cute. I've started to get a lot more into accessories than ever before and some of those pieces would make perfection editions to my collections :)
