So, as I've probably mentioned a million times, I've had some new clothes to blog about but have been having camera issues of late so blogging has been on the back burner. However, this month I was finally able to upgrade my phone so actually have a camera to take pictures for posts. Yay! They're quite pixelated though, booo!

Health and Beauty Insider
A little while back I received an email from the lovely Rosemary at Health and Beauty insider requesting that I do a short, online interview for the new website. For those of you that haven't heard of it, Health and Beauty Insider is a website that features interviews of bloggers and industry professionals, from C.E.O's to Marketing Executives.
So anyway, Rosemary emailed me after seeing my little space on the internet and I did a short interview for her which is now up on their website! HOW EXCITING!
I know I don't have hundreds of followers, and sometimes it's easy to lose sight of why I started blogging in the first place, but it's so nice to receive recognition from a third party. It's really convinced me to continue blogging and the lovely comments from you guys has just emphasised it.
You can check out the website here and see my feature at http://www.healthandbeautyinsider.co.uk/casey-bee/
My blogging interest has been reignited! Now to get those draft posts published...

Winter Wishes
Finally, I've managed to compile a wish list of sorts!
I've really sucked at blogging lately (I mean more than usual, I know I'm not the great at the best of times). I've got three posts lined up but just need to take photos to finish them off. My standard winter self-consciousness has set in and I'm hiding from the camera more than ever. I'll pluck up the courage and show you my new things, I promise.
There's a combination of things in here, things I would like, things I need (jeans mainly) and a couple of New Years Eve possibilities.
I already own the OhMyLove velvet peter pan dress in black and have done for quite a while but I'm never going to be able to wear it as I can't dry clean it - the nice man at the dry cleaners says the material hasn't been treated which means the dye will run horribly :( They've put the price up this year and renamed it so perhaps this issue has been sorted? It's such a nice dress I'd like to own it to wear more than once and wine would be a lovely edition to my dress collection, it's just such a risk on a tight budget.
The Motel sequin dress, however wouldn't be risky. Available in a number of different colours/tones, it's been all over everything lately and I think it would be rude not to jump on the bandwagon!
The Topshop colour block bag is definitely going to be hunted down as soon as Christmas is over, I haven't liked a bag this much in a looong time!

Beauty Maxx
I took a little trip into TK Maxx today, which in itself is a rare occurrence, and found some absolute bargains! First of all, they're selling the Ciaté caviar gift sets in a few different shades for just £9.99, I couldn't have been more excited, especially when I found one that had been reduced to £7.00 because of slight damage to the box - RESULT!
I actually cheated on a birthday present with this and added the bottle of caviar beads to a friends birthday gift bag along with a load of other beauty bits, keeping the nail paint for myself (how selfish!) and considering they're usually £9 per bottle I'm not overly impressed with the finish.
It's nice, sure, and I love the colour but it isn't particularly thick so needs a good three coats to stop it looking patchy.

The colour looks more of a paler green here which I actually prefer, but in reality has more of a blue hue to it.
I don't know whether it's due to the approaching holiday, but for a small store they had so many beauty products, the shelves were literally rammed and there were so many things I wanted to purchase - BedHead hair products being among them, but I was restrained and just bought one moisturiser. It's 'Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow' by a brand called laidbare and aims to reduce hair growth and skin irritation that can following shaving or waxing.
I have no idea whether these things actually work but it was only £3.99 so I thought I'd give it a go. Bonus if it works and something to blog about whatever the outcome.

Right As Rain
Almost two weeks into November, I'm very late with the wish list again this month!
We're definitely well and truly into Winter now and all these blustery, rainy days have got me hankering after a new coat. I already own a Topshop parka but it's a good few years old now and is looking really ropey so this would be a welcomed update. And if I'm getting a new coat, I may as well pick up a matching hat scarf and mitten set while I'm there!
The tartan number (I'm obsessed, I know!) is to feature in a post coming soon; this version is from Primark as I like to keep things accessible and never one to pass up a bargain.
I've wanted a Daniel Wellington watch for about a year now I just find watches such an expensive accessory... The Mary-Jane shoes are currently sitting in my Topshop basket waiting to be paid for. I will have the cutest feet this season!

Catch of the Day
I'm so excited about this post!
I've done so well at not throwing money at clothing companies over the last few months so now, when I buy something, its a lot more exciting! It's also more thought out so I'm not buying things I will banish to the back of the wardrobe after wearing once.
Map Print Shirt - Topshop, £35 | Yellow Rainmac - eBay, £26 |

Blacks on Blacks on Blacks
I've been so busy with work over the last few weeks that I almost completely missed the October wish list! My time management has taken a right beating since the start of term and I've wholeheartedly adopted 'Better late than never' as my daily mantra! I'm the worst employee...
So the wish list is looking rather dark this month but with Halloween just around the corner I think it's an acceptable route to take. The Topshop contrast collar dress is so Wednesday Addams and both that and the Motel tea dress have got my clothes fund crying out to be spent. Luckily, I got a bit of a pay rise this month so I may have to give in with the excuse that I'm dressing up as Wednesday for Halloween.
The watch is an absolute beaut! It's from a company called WeWood who craft watches entirely of wood remnants which makes the watches kinder to skin as there aren't as many toxins to irritate your wrist. They stock a variety of styles and colours/types of wood and WeWood plant a tree for every watch sold. I'm always keen to get on board with a good cause so I'm putting this on my Christmas list (AH the dreaded C-word!) and most likely going to buy one as a gift too.

I've started so many outfit/haul posts recently and haven't been able to post them due to my irrational fear of cameras but I've just bought some items that I need to share with you so will dust of the canon and post something up soon, promise!

Back To School
Septermber Wishlist by casey-byrne featuring a lined jacket
It's September. And September only means one thing to me... Back. To. School. EURGH!
I don't actually go to school but I do work in one, so going back to work after a relaxing 6 week break is arduous! (Can you tell I'm back into teaching mode?!) 6am starts are NOT the one, guys.
This month's wishlist is an AW13 inspired list with some prints and shades that I think are set to wow this season, it's all about texture and bold colours, particularly blood red and cobalt blue. There's going to be a lot of tartan on the highstreet which is being teamed with leather and studs for a punk inspired edge. However, with my Scottish roots, I think I'm going to be taking tartan the other way and girling it up as much as possible.
The one thing I am most definitely going to purchase is the atlas print shirt from Topshop (surprise, surprise). I literally cannot wait to have it hanging in my wardrobe.
I keep meaning to publish outfit posts, or at least posts of items I've recently bought, but my camera is in a dire state at the moment, and I don't particularly like posing for photos. I will try to make a start on some over the next few weeks though as I've got some lovely new things to show you.

Birthday Beauty
It was my birthday this month and among all the lovely things I was given I received lots of beauty products that I just had to share with you.
First and foremost, this little box of wonders has made me desperate to go to a festival STAT. So far I've tried the brighter colours, but didn't have much luck with the white as I think my hair is just too dark.
I got nail polish by the gallon too so have a bundle of new shades to try out.
I've already found my favourite; Maybelline SuperStay in Mint for Life (because as you may have already guessed, I LOVE MINT) and although I've never tried Maybelline polishes before I couldn't be happier with it! My nails never look good for very long as they chip and flake so easily but this has been on for days now and there's not a chip in sight.
I also received some beaut clothes, including some off of the wish list, but unfortunately none of them fit me :( I must have dropped a dress size because they were all too big, BOOO!
Something that did fit though were these lush Vans in beach glass which were bought for me by the boyfriend. They were on this months wish list too so he must have taken a sneak peek at the blog but I'm so glad he did!
All in all I've been a very lucky girl.

Liebster Award
The lovely Katelyn over at My American Life has nominated me for the Liebster award! I've seen posts from other bloggers on the award but never thought I would be nominated so a MASSIVE thank you to Katelyn.
I'm sure most of you are familiar with the Liebster award but for those of you that haven't come across it before, its a concept in which a blogger tags other bloggers with under 200 followers that they think readers should check out. It's a really great way for new bloggers to get connected with each other and to promote blogs you like to your readers.
The rules...
Write 10 facts about yourself and answer the questions asked by the blogger who tagged/nominated you.
Tag 10 other bloggers with under 200 followers that you enjoy reading and let them know on their blogs that you've picked them.
Come up with 10 questions for your nominees to answer in their own post.
Now, a lot of other posts like this that I have read centre around 11 instead of 10 and the 'rules' have changed so much as the Liebster has become more widespread but I've copied Katelyn's rules.
So here goes, I always find facts about myself difficult but I'll take a shot at it:
I have a degree in English with Sociology and Social Sciences.
I get addicted to soft drinks really easily and go through fazes of favourites - at the moment it's Vanilla Coca Cola.
I currently work in a Grammar school and will hopefully be embarking on teacher training soon.
Secretly, I want to work in the fashion and/or beauty industry (Journalism, PR, Marketing) but I've always been too scared to attempt it as it so competitive.
I wear fake eyelashes A LOT, semi-permanent or strip, and now hate not having them on.
I want to see as much of the world as possible, but haven't had the opportunity so far.
My diet is really unhealthy and as I write this I'm thinking about BigMacs.
I am a little bit obsessed with buying clothes. And shampoo.
I tend to have flavoured milk and angel delight when I'm sad.
I'm really fussy with grammar and spelling. Particularly in texts.
1. What is the a beauty product you could not leave home without? AH! Narrowing it down to just one is so difficult. I think it would probably be foundation as I always end up rubbing most of it off. Or eyelash glue... Oh yeah, eyelash glue.
2. Something/Someone you are afraid to lose? Hmm that's a tough one. I lost my best friend, Dale, in a car accident a few months ago so friends and family are top of the list. But on a lighter note, probably my bank card.
3. Favorite clothing brand? Has to be Topshop.
4. Best vacation/holiday spot? I haven't had the opportunity to travel very much at all but I'd like to see as many cities/capitals as I can. I'd also love to see the seven wonders.
5. Favorite season for clothing? Probably the cross over from Summer to Autumn. I love that its warm enough to not need a jacket but you can start wearing winter accessories and rain macs without looking silly.
6. Best memory? It's so hard to choose just one, any with my sister, we've had a lot of good times.
7. Describe yourself in one word. Creative. In so many ways, not all necessarily good.
8. Best accomplishment in life? Probably getting through my A-levels. I had a really tough time outside of school and was so close to dropping out. So glad I persevered.
9. Favorite book? Either the Hobbit or Good Morning, Midnight by Jean Rhys.
10. Favorite time of day? Early evening as it's usually when I get to spend time with my favourite people.
So that's me. Now time for my nominations...
Chanelle at ChanelleLouise
Ashlie at Ashlie Small
Sophie at Daydreams and Style
Sarah at The Beauty Revolution
Helen Louise at Cosmetics, Clothes and Cute Things
Imogen at The Bluebird & the robin
Linsay at Miss Linny O
Olivia at Beauty from the Fjord
Meghan at Peach Pips
And of course Katelyn at My Life
And my questions:
- What is your favourite smell?
- What's your top AW beauty tip?
- If you could be anyone for a day, who would you choose?
- What's your favourite clothing brand?
- Describe yourself in three words.
- Why did you start blogging?
- Name your favourite blog ( or the blog you read most)
- What's your favourite tv show?
- If you had to choose one, which could you not live without, mascara or foundation?
- What three items would you take to a desert island?

Come Rain or Shine
It's August! We're 8months into 2013 and it seems to have absolutely flown by. I've been hard at the saving game over the last month so this wish list is a bit of a mish-mash of things I'm keen on but there seems to be a colour theme emerging. MINT, Get In My Life.
I known the shift dress is basically the same as a previously featured dress (just in a different colour) and I feel like I'm cheating here slightly but I love it! The style is perfect for summer days and could easily be transformed to evening or autumn wear with heels or opaque tights.
The rain mac is something I'm lusting over from afar, as are the Vans. I've wanted both of these for quite some time but I've been trying my hardest to save some money and coats and shoes are not things I'm in short supply of.
I've included an oversized tee from AND. clothing which is a small unisex clothing company that have some roots in my local area so I'm keen to invest in one of their items and this lollipop dip dye top is right up my street.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse® OR
I didn't do a Glossybox review for the June box as I was, again, unimpressed with it and had no motivation to review the products. Also, I didn't fancy writing a negative post because that's no fun! I've since unsubscribed to Glossybox and am on the prowl for a new beautybox subscription so if you have any recommendations please let me know.
There is one good thing that came out of that box though, Huile Prodigieuse OR by Nuxe. I love this product so much that I just want to scream about it from rooftops! I won't do that, but my blog is the next best thing so I will share it with you.
Each review of this product I've seen has focussed on the products benefits for skin but I used it on my hair and couldn't be happier with the results.
I worked the oil through damp hair from tips to scalp, wrapped my hair in a dry towel and left for about 25minutes and then washed my hair normally.
The directions for use suggest 15-20 but I went for a little over 20 as my hair is very thick and quite damaged from so much heat styling. I was worried that this would mean that it would take more to get the oil out of my hair and was concerned about a greasy after effect but there was no such issue.
This left my hair so smooth and manageable without making it feel heavy. It did wonders for product build up and made my hair feel a little stronger and in better condition all round. After one use, there's still quite a bit left in the bottle, which was a 10ml sample, so I'm going to use it every few weeks to give my hair a more deep cleanse treatment and to revitalise it a bit. In the mean time, I'm going to attempt to find some products which will deliver the same results but that are more in my price range because at £34.00 for 100ml, I won't be able to afford this one for a while yet! You can shop the Nuxe range here and if you have any recommendations I'd love to hear from you.

Summer Crush
There are so many things I wanted to add to the wishlist this month so these are just a few items that have risen to the top of the list.
I love buttoned up blouses at the moment and there are so many on the high-street that I found it quite hard to choose just one. This Topshop number is so dainty, cute and in a colour I'm really into at the moment so it had to be included. Plus, it's in the sale so hopefully it'll work it's way from wishlist to wardrobe soon
The Twister lip balm is a novelty thing but was actually the first item to be added. Seeing as it combines two of my utmost addictions of the moment, lip balm and Twister ice lollies, it HAD to be on the post.
This photo of the lime green dress, and on the internet generally, doesn't do the dress justice as it isn't a true reflection of the actual colour. It almost looks, mint green here but is in actual fact a very bright, lime green in the flesh.
Shift dresses are my fashion quest this month, along with camis. I'm determined to get one or two for the coming summer months along with a pair of brown heels as I literally own none! Don't ask me how I've fashionably functioned this long without a pair as I haven't a clue!

Mojito Madness
Ever since receiving an Essie nail polish in the April Glossybox I've been dying to get a few more of their shades. Their polishes are so lovely to work with, they go on beautifully, dry quickly and are long-wearing (I've had this shade on for a week now and only have a few minor chips!) so when I heard that there were a few websites selling certain colours for a fraction of the retail price I just couldn't ignore the opportunity.
I came across click fragrance when I saw an Instagram post by Brighton blogger Everything's Rosie featuring this very nail polish. Unfortunately the site had sold out of this shade and I almost went for Ole Caliente instead, a bright red with a slight fuchsia undertone, but I persevered and searched online for the right colour and I'm so glad I did as I found it on fragrancedirect.com for just £1.99!
I've been hunting around for some bold, bright coloured polishes to feed my 'bold colours against monochrome' addiction and, if you've read some of my recent fashion posts, you'll know I'm all about yellows and greens at the minute so this find was literally perfect.

June Bug
I've just had a week off work (what with it being half term) so have had a few opportunities to peruse the current high-street lines and if I'm completely honest, I was quite disappointed with most of the shops I entered. Unsurprisingly, I could have written a list the length of my arm with the number of things I fell in love with in Topshop, including their current concessions, but have tried my very best not to make this a Topshop heavy post.
Due to the shopping let down that was last week, this month's wish list is basically compiled of items I have been lusting after throughout April and May.
As you can see, monochrome and bright/neon yellow are still a big thing for me this month - I'm literally obessesed and everything I've looked to purchase recently has fit into either of these trends perfectly. Combining the two is an absolute must!
I've added a box chain necklace in yellow from Forever 21 which I'm dying to buy! Only problem is, its not available on their UK site or in UK stores and I can only find it on the American website which means it will have to stay on the wishlist. Bad times.
I have bought a black bodycon midi dress which I'm looking to team with a splash of yellow and this necklace was exactly what I've been looking for, I'm also positive I've seen it on someone so am devastated that its not available over here. SOB.
I've also added a tin of hair chalk by Free People. Hair chalk has started to creep onto the high-street over the last few weeks and I think it will be a massive hit this summer, especially with festival season just around the corner. You simply colour in sections of your hair with the chalk to create bright dip dyes or random pops of colour which washes out when you next shampoo. Easy to apply, no fuss and no long term damage. WIN.
Will you be trying out hair chalk this summer? What do you think of the statement colours?

What's New?
I recently accompanied my sister on an explicitly focused shopping trip - she was out to buy a dress for her university leavers ball and that was it. No irrelevant shops, no being side-tracked and most importantly, NO extra spending.
Of course, things don't always go to plan...
Top - Workshop at UrbanOutfitters £15
Skirt - Zara £17.99
The top was a sale find at UO which I literally ripped from the rail and ran straight to the till with. I love stag heads and antlers so to find it on a top was a big win for me.
The skirt is pretty bang on with a few trends this season and I'm wearing it at every opportunity. I love that it combines monochrome, aztec print AND neon in a really flattering body con style.
I'm a very happy Bee.

Maybe Baby
So this is my first ever blogger wishlist! How exicitng!
I've seen so many things I want this month, but the t-bar shoes are most definitely top of my list. They're so cute and only £30 in Topshop. They also have a light brown pair, quite similar to those pictured. which I have my beady eye on and I'm desperate to refashion my 6yr old self by getting a pair.
I adore the pineapple print crop blouse from Urban Outifitters although can't find it to buy on their site just yet (I'll be stalking the website until it's available!). There's something about fruit print, it's just so perfect for Spring through to Summer outfits.

The Superdry jacket is something I won't be able to purchase anytime soon but it embodies the fisherman/sailoresque style that I've been trying to find in a jacket for so long now. I'm also partial to a bold green or yellow at the moment (if you hadn't already noticed) so this works perfectly with all of my current style lusts.
What fashion & beauty items are you currently pining over?

Spring Fever
This month GlossyBox have set out to set us up for Spring with the 'Spring Fever' beautybox and the box I have received is an all round winner. The box itself is in a cute floral print exclusively designed by Pearl Lowe (which is g-or-geous!) and the products featured sparked just as much girly excitement as the pretty exterior.
This product smells DIVINE and doesn't feel greasy or heavy when applied. Nip+Fab are quite a well established and regarded brand and I've been dying to try out their products, finally the chance has come, and I think that this is a product that I will actually use until empty. I can't get over how good it smells and it doesn't feel greasy or heavy when applied. Now desperate to try the Coconut Latte version, down to Boots I go...
Essie 'Nice is Nice' Nail Polish - Full size product retailing at £7.99
So what have we got...
Nip+Fab Pistachio Body Butter - 50ml tub retailing at around £3 each

Essie 'Nice is Nice' Nail Polish - Full size product retailing at £7.99
A full size Essie nail polish! Glossybox really are treating us this month! This product was part of Essie's 2011 Spring Collection but is just as good for the beauty trends this spring. I tend to steer clear of purple shades for my nails as I'm quite pale and they tend to wash my hands out a little but I've completely abandoned that logic this month and have fully embraced the lilac. I love pastel shades wholeheartedly and this shade is perfect for Spring!
ModelCo. Rosy Red Cheek & Lip Tint - 10ml product retailing at £15
I've never tried any of ModelCo's products before and have never dabbled in multitasking products so was eager to try this one out. It's easy to apply and comes out in a thin gel that soaks into your skin quickly making it fuss free. It also feels very lightweight when its on and does last well.
I'm quite all or nothing with cosmetics but tend to hang on to things 'just in case' and I think this product might be joining the ever growing box of those products. Basically, I'm on the fence. Not because it's not a good product, but because it's not something I can see myself using.
Sun Sense Daily Face SPF50+ - 10g sample, 75g product retails at £18.50
I'll be honest, I haven't tried this product yet. Appalling, I know! Essentially, I don't usually get on with tinted moisturisers all that well and have been waiting for the sun to show it's face before I start using this product.
Yves Rocher So Elixer Purple EDP - 5ml bottle, 30ml retails at £29
I despise opening a box and finding a perfume sample, which was the case in the March box. However, the difference this time is that the March sample was a tester that can be picked up in department stores and this time we have an actual perfume mini which is much, much better.
In addition, I actually really like this one! I usually wear the AmorAmor perfumes and Ghost DeepNight and I would band this scent in with those vanilla and subtle incense fragrances (can you tell I used to work on a fragrance counter?!) This one gets a thumbs up from me.
All in all, the gang at Glossybox have done so well this month. I'm starting to see what all the fuss that made me sign up was about and I'll be sticking around as a subscriber to, hopefully, see some more boxes like this one. I've just received confirmation of payment for May's box, fingers crossed the high standard is maintained.

April Showers
There's been a lull in my blogging recently, April didn't treat me very well and I've been almost entirely absent from the Internet. But I'm back! and have plenty of purchases to show you and some sellers to share with you.
The prolonged Winter we've been suffering in the UK has driven me crazy this month and the only solace I've found is buying clothes and accessories, nothing appropriate for the cold climate mind, I've been trying to stay optimistic that Spring will grace us with its presence.
(Please excuse the quality of the photos, my camera is broken so I'm having to use my phone)
On top of the standard highstreet and well-known online store buys, I've been on the prowl for some fresh, new outlets that I can wrap my purse strings around and have stumbled upon Manchester based company Thriftette. Founded by Lucie Benjamin and Grace Avery, Thriftette are predominantly an online seller having sold through ASOS Marketplace and their own online store, although have one store in Manchester, and specialise in one-off vintage, retro and handmade pieces.
I purchased these hand-dyed tie dye socks and they are SO CUTE!!
I have also just made my first purchase from MeeMee.com. Review to follow upon delivery...
In other news, I've been approached by a small, kitsch gift designer who wants to use my artwork on some new designs (canvases, furniture and possibly even t-shirts!). Okay, so its very early days and I'm trying really hard not to get too carried away with it but, I can't begin to describe how exciting the prospect is! You never know, there may be some of my own items being featured here in the not too distant future!
Stay tuned lovelies

The prolonged Winter we've been suffering in the UK has driven me crazy this month and the only solace I've found is buying clothes and accessories, nothing appropriate for the cold climate mind, I've been trying to stay optimistic that Spring will grace us with its presence.

Denim Skater Skirt, Shoes, Cropped Jumper: all New Look | Red Skater Skirt: Misguided | Accessories: Primark |
Striped Blouse & Necklace: Primark | Skirt: New Look | Lace Detail Bouse: Cameo Rose | Tie Dye Socks: Thriftette |
Aztec Crop top & Shoes: New Look | Playsuit: Charity shop | Long sleeved Crop top: Topshop |
So, I've gone crazy for the crop! I'll admit, when they started reappearing on the fashion scene I was too scared to wear and trembled at the thought of baring any flesh. But, I took the plunge, (feel the fear and do it anyway right?) and I couldn't be more glad I did!!
In a recent clothes clear out I found some old cropped tops that I'd stashed away at some point many moons ago (obviously too scared back then too!) and have pulled them forward into my current wardrobe, hooray! I can't see the trend disappearing from the fashion scene too soon so predict my collection will grow in the coming months. What's your stance on the 90's throwback?

Tie dye has been on my fashion radar since last summer and as soon as the weather brightens up I fully intend to start creating some of my own pieces so watch this space!
I highly recommend that you check out Thriftette if you're interested in vintage and retro fashion.I have also just made my first purchase from MeeMee.com. Review to follow upon delivery...

Fruit Pastel Fingers
I previously mentioned that I have been quite frivolous with my cash just lately but my favourite purchase, by far, has come from high street beauty brand Model's Own.
I have seen a number of posts, both on blogs and twitter etc, about the new Fruit Pastel nail polishes from Model's Own recently and have been quite curious. Feeling that I needed to see what all the hype was about, I decided to feed my inquisitive nature and got myself down to Boot's at the first possible opportunity.
I went for Blueberry Muffin and Strawberry Tart out of the five available shades and am really pleased. I'm already a fan of pastel shades and Model's Own have delivered in regards to consistency and durability; it goes on and covers really well and doesn't chip quickly like a lot of polishes tend to. This combination has allowed Model's Own to secure a permanent spot in my [not so] little box of varnishes but to add to the cute colours and rated wearable qualities, these polishes really DO carry their intended scents when dry.
I'm extremely impressed and will most likely end up with the entire collection before next pay day!!

March Glossybox Review
I began subscribing to GlossyBox at the beginning of the year and haven't been overly impressed with the product samples, until this month.
Usually I get sent cosmetic products in shades that really don't suit me and each box has featured a product I will use whereas this months box has been quite the opposite...
The only problem I find with beauty boxes is that I'm just adding to my already excessive collection of beauty products and cosmetics. I really need to stop flitting from one product to another and stick to one until its finished in an attempt to use some up. My only incentive is the potential storage space!

Usually I get sent cosmetic products in shades that really don't suit me and each box has featured a product I will use whereas this months box has been quite the opposite...
- Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream (Fragrance Free) - I was so pleased to see this in the box. I've never tried Elizabeth Arden products due to their price tag but this classic beauty product is definitely something I'll consider when I have the opportunity to splurge now that I've tried it. I tested the product in the evening to see how my skin would react and was pleased to find it didn't leave my skin feeling heavy or oily. It's an all round product (which I have been using to shape my eyebrows with over the past few days!) and I will be giving it a permanent place in my make-up bag.
- Juicy Couture Couture La La tester - This fragrance is pleasant but is a little musky for me to wear. I'm indifferent to this one.
- Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush - I LOVE this product! Having never heard of the brand previously I was so excited to try it out and it has definitely delivered. I have been sent a wonderful Cranberry shade and it gives just the right amount of bold red colour that I like to wear whilst keeping my lips moisturised. 5 stars!
- Nails Inc Nail Polish in St.James - Very happy with this sample, Nails Inc is never disappointing. And this shade matches the Jelly Pong Pong lip blush! It goes on easily and gives a good coverage.
- Tresemme Salon Finish Extra Hold Hairspray - This product is most certainly useful but nothing that special. It's easily accessible on the highstreet and seemed a little out of place in this box but will definitely get used.
